Of Riders and Running Horses
As part of Birmingham Weekender running from the 25th-27th of September, Fierce Festival and the mac Birmingham have joined forces to bring you Of Riders and Running Horses (by Bristol-based Still House). This outdoor dance piece features music from a live band and is performed in a secret city-centre location, with the backdrop of the fading sun.
“Night. We find a space in the margins of the city in which to gather: to start an ad hoc ceremony, to stamp our feet and shake our limbs, to dance in the face of an ending.” (www.stillhouse.co.uk)
Club Fierce continues to develop its relationship with contemporary music this year presenting dance intervention, interaction and observing the intrinsic link between music and the body.

Referred to often as a tastemaker for Berlin’s underground bass scene, Sarah Farina will be spinning what she herself refers to as “rainbow bass” at Fierce 2015. Often progressive, her genre-hopping style has led her to play with the likes of Tikiman and the legendary Dave Rodigan. Farina is respected by true music heads worldwide; listen to her soundcloud, you’ll see why.
