Jeanne van Heeswijk (1966, Schijndel, the Netherlands) has been working on socially committed art projects since 1993. Over the coming 12 months Jeanne will be developing a project inspired by the Lunar Society in Birmingham, developed by Eastside Projects and Fierce Festival. As part of her research process Jeanne will make periodic visits to the city. On Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th April. There are a limited number of places to join a discussion hosted by Jeanne. The discussion take at their starting point Birmingham City Council’s ‘Big City Plan’ a vision of their urban regeneration intentions.
