Fierce would like to meet… a Festival Producer

We are looking for a freelance Festival Producer for Fierce Festival 2026!

This is an incredible role for an experienced freelance producer to shape and lead the delivery of the longest-established live arts festival in the UK. This year’s iteration in October 2026 will bring bold new elements to the well-established and widely celebrated Fierce Festival with performers and guests from across the globe.

Applications are now open. The successful candidate will work with the festival co-directors, the production manager and wider team, to deliver an extraordinary programme of local, national and international performance in Birmingham, in October 2026. They will manage teams, co-ordinate with artists and partners, and work to create a festival which embeds our values of Trust, Rigour, Disruption and Joy.

Fierce Festival is a lodestar in the careers of many, and we expect the upcoming edition to be no different.

Opportunity Details

Location: Birmingham

Fee: 75 days @ £200 = £15,000

Work pattern: 2-3 days per week TBD April – November 2026 | 6-day festival week (12-18th October)

Deadline to apply: 9am Monday 23rd February 2026

Interviews:

First round interviews will be held online the week beginning 2nd March 2026.
Second round interviews, will be held in the week beginning 9th March 2026.

We will let you know when we invite you to interview who will be on the panel and will send out copies of all interview questions in advance. We will let you know by the end of the day on Thursday 26th February if you have been invited to interview.
