Horizon – Performance Created in England, an exciting new showcase of performing arts commissioned by Arts Council England will continue in 2022 and 2023 at the Edinburgh Festivals.The 2021 pilot showcase included streamed live theatre, dance and live art performances, digital works and other events for a global audience, with international delegates supported to engage virtually with the performances.
For 2022 & 2023, the showcase will primarily involve live performance, in Edinburgh, but digital wraparound activities will also form part of the work. Artist Residencies and bursaries are also a feature of the plans.
Horizon are looking to recruit for four exciting roles to deliver the 2022/23 showcases at the Edinburgh Festivals. The roles can ‘work from home’ but it would also be possible to work from consortium partner offices, including Fierce in Birmingham.
