Forest Fringe continues to dynamically explore alternative ways of presenting work in Edinburgh. Despite the loss of Forest Cafe this year, they have created an alternative (this time conceptual) space for more experimental and non-commercial practices. If you’re in Edinburgh this month, be sure to get hold of a copy of Paper Stages, a collection of ‘performance scores’ for you to enact this year’s micro-festival. There’s a great collection of artists including Action Hero, Abigail Conway, Melanie Wilson, Andy Field, Tim Etchells, Chris Goode, Tania El Khoury and Kim Noble.
