French artist and architecture collective EXYZT have been busy working with twelve young building apprentices aged 15-16 from Birmingham Metropolitan College to create furniture for the upcoming festival. Building on the success of working with young apprentices at their Dalston Mill project in London and City Island in Madrid, Nicholas and Dyer from the collective have set up a workshop in A E Harris in the Jewellery Quarter, to build a whole range of street furniture which will be used on site in their project, BURNING’HAM. The work experience has been organised in partnership with MADE. Here are some of the fruits of their labour.
