This year, we’re partnering with Birmingham Black Box Theatre for our Festival Hub.

Open from Wednesday 16 October to Sunday 20 October, the Hub will be a space to mix and mingle with fellow artists and audience members alike. We’ll have food and drinks for purchase, too.

We’ll be activating the Hub throughout the Festival with performances: How Does It Feel? and Entepfuhl on Thursday and Come Hell or High Femmes: The Era of the Dolls on Friday. We’ll also host free community events like the Live Art Writers Network: Public Gathering, Producer Gathering: A Midlands Social! and Industry Happy Hours from Thursday to Saturday of the Festival.

In addition, our Artists-in-Residence, husbands – trans siblings Yevheniya Kravets and Yann Slattery who use queer fiction and game structures to mock and trick power dynamics – will use the Hub to engage in a series of micro-performances and interventions.

We’ll provide full opening hours for the hub soon, so keep an eye on our website and socials. See you at Birmingham Black Box Theatre!
